3RB x Bringing (Dis)Ability to the Bar Criminal Advocacy Weekend 2026

We are delighted to once again partner with Bringing (Dis)Ability to the Bar to run a criminal advocacy workshop for disabled students over the weekend of 21-22 February 2026.

The workshop aims to equip disabled students with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to succeed at the criminal bar in an environment that is supportive to their needs. The weekend is likely to be of interest to anyone with a disability who is actively considering a career at the criminal bar.

Participants will have the opportunity to prepare and deliver submissions based on realistic criminal law cases and receive detailed feedback from members of chambers.

Trainers for the event include Patrick Gibbs KC, Matthew Butt KC, William Emlyn Jones KC, Clair Dobbin KC, Rachel Barnes KC, Reka Hollos and Ruby Shrimpton.

The weekend will also include panel discussions tailored to succeeding at pupillage interviews and tips for applying as a disabled applicant.
