Brothers Matthew West and Nikolas West received suspended custodial sentences for insider dealing offences, following guilty pleas entered in May 2025. Matthew West was sentenced for four instances of insider dealing and one of disclosing inside information, in relation to shares in five companies between November 2016 and January 2020. Nikolas West was sentenced for a single instance of insider dealing in January 2020.
Rebecca Hadgett, led by Alexandra Healy KC of Foundry Chambers, appeared for the FCA.
