The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has published a comprehensive review into rail fare enforcement, highlighting significant concerns over disproportionate penalties and inconsistent practices across the UK’s rail network.
Hugh Davies OBE KC, was one of six independent experts advising on the review. His legal expertise contributed to the development of recommendations aimed at balancing effective revenue protection with fair treatment of passengers. See here.
