Amanda Bostock appeared before the Divisional Court alongside Joel Smith KC representing the Belgian authorities, successfully arguing that prison conditions in Belgium do not breach Article 3 of the ECHR as either a result of lack of personal space, inadequate general conditions or the continued risk of strikes.
