After a 10 week trial, Urfan Sharif and Beinash Batool, the father and step-mother of 10 year old Sara Sharif, have been convicted of her murder. Sara’s uncle, Faisal Malik, was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child. Bill Emlyn Jones KC was leading counsel for the prosecution.
