Police cleared of failures in young woman’s death

An inquest originally opened 21 years ago into the death of Sabina Rizvi, a young woman shot dead shortly after leaving a police station in 2003, concluded at the Old Bailey with a ruling that there were no arguable failures by police officers that caused or contributed to her unlawful killing by assailants.

Patrick Gibbs KC and Kevin Baumber represented the police officers concerned.
