Three Raymond Buildings International Criminal Law Advocacy Day

On 27th January 2024 Three Raymond Buildings hosted an International Criminal Law Advocacy Day. 75 students came to Gray’s Inn to hear talks from members of chambers on sanctions, universal jurisdiction and extradition. The students then worked in groups to prepare submissions in an extradition appeal which they argued in front of members of chambers.

20 barristers gave up their Saturday to participate in the event. We are committed to improving access to the profession and increasing diversity in our chambers. We see events like this as a step in the right direction.

Special thanks to our chambers administrator Donna Garner who helped organise and run the day and our current pupils Charlotte Branfield, Isabel Aughterson, Miranda Zeffman and next year’s pupils Alisdair Johnson and Miranda Lickert who also attended to help out.

If you are interested in a career in international criminal law we hope you consider applying for pupillage at Three Raymond Buildings. We are recruiting via the Gateway and applications close 07 February 2024. You can read more here.
