International Crime Training and Advocacy Day

UPDATE: Due to overwhelming demand, this event is now full and we are unable to accept any more applications.

Please join Three Raymond Buildings for an international crime training and advocacy day taking place on Saturday 27th January, 2024, from 09:30 to 15:30. Participants will be introduced to the key concepts in sanctions, universal jurisdiction and extradition, before preparing and delivering an application for permission to appeal an order for extradition. Members of Chambers will deliver the training and act as the judges for the advocacy exercise.

The event is open to anyone intending to practise at the Bar of England and Wales with an interest in criminal and international law. No previous experience is required or expected.

Please email training@3rblaw.com to apply. We don’t require a full CV, but a few lines about you, where you are in your journey to the Bar and your experience to date would help us. We particularly encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds as part of our strategy to increase diversity within chambers. We will always make reasonable adjustments for applicants with a disability so please do speak to us (in confidence) about what support we can provide should you need it.

Please note, this event will be held in person at Three Raymond Buildings.
