Publication of final IICSA report

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse has published its final report containing findings about the prevalence of and responses to child abuse and exploitation in State and non-State institutions.

The Panel made twenty recommendations for reform, including the implementation of mandatory reporting obligations and improvements to the provision of support for survivors of abuse.

The final report followed more than 325 days of hearings across 19 investigative modules.

Richard Horwell KC advised Core Participants over the course of the Inquiry.

Clair Dobbin KC was counsel to the Inquiry in its investigations into children in the care of Lambeth Council and Rochdale Council.

Reka Hollos acted as sole counsel for a Core Participant in the Residential Schools module.

Genevieve Woods acted as counsel for eight Core Participants over the course of the Inquiry.
