Jonathan Ashley-Norman KC appeared on behalf of the Respondent before the Supreme Court on Wednesday 22 June in the confiscation case of R v Andrewes. This important appeal concerned the meaning of “disproportionate” in confiscation proceedings.
The Supreme Court found a “middle way” in confiscation orders following conviction for CV fraud.
