National Westminster Bank PLC Pleads Guilty

NatWest Bank Plc pleaded guilty today to three offences contrary to the Money Laundering Regulations 2007, in a case brought by the Financial Conduct Authority. This is the first time the FCA has prosecuted any person for breaches of the MLR 2007.

Matthew Butt QC and Thomas Bushnell, along with Clare Montgomery QC, act for the FCA and advised it throughout this complex investigation.
