Ben Watson was instructed for the Foreign Secretary (led by Sir James Eadie QC) in a judicial review arising out of the death of Harry Dunn, who died after his motorcycle was struck by a car driven by Anne Sacoolas, the wife of a member of the staff of the US Embassy’s annex at RAF Croughton. The case concerned whether the Secretary of State was right to conclude that Mrs Sacoolas had diplomatic immunity.
