At Southwark Crown Court on Thursday 8th October 2020 Basil Al Jarah was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months imprisonment following his pleas of guilty to five counts of corruption and five other offences which he had asked to be taken into consideration. The total value of the bribes paid was $17m.
