On 28 February 2020, the defendants in the Barclays-Qatar capital raising trial were acquitted. The acquittals followed a ten year investigation by the SFO and two trials before the Crown Court, after the Court of Appeal ordered a retrial following acquittals at half time in the first trial.
Nicholas Yeo acted as junior counsel for the 2nd defendant, Barclays former head of Wealth.
