Four police officers have been cleared of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and misconduct in a public office at Southwark Crown Court. One of the officers, who were all attached to the Gangs Unit operating in Tower Hamlets, was accused of punching a 14 year old gang member during his arrest in November 2015; his co-defendants were accused of failing to report him for this assault.
The officers were represented by Kevin Baumber, Richard Atchley, Heather Oliver and Neil Saunders.
