Rakesh Bhayani was today convicted of the murder of the former Libya-based oil executive Carole Waugh. His co-defendant, Nicholas Kutner was acquitted of the murder. Bhayani had earlier pleaded guilty to defrauding Ms Waugh and perverting the course of justice by concealing her body. Kutner had also pleaded guilty to the fraud and was also convicted of the perverting.
