Police officers cleared of misconduct following the death of Henry Hicks

Four police officers were cleared today of all misconduct charges relating to the death of Henry Hicks on 19.12.14.

Henry Hicks died after losing control of his moped whilst two police units were following him with lights and sirens activated. The Misconduct Panel found that the officers were not involved in a pursuit as defined by Metropolitan Police Service policy and that there had therefore been no breach of the professional standards.
