Detective Inspector cleared of gross misconduct

Allegations that a Detective Inspector ignored concerns raised by a Detective Sergeant that there was insufficient evidence to detain a member of the public, and that he directed she should be further arrested for another matter leading to her wrongly being deprived of her liberty were all found not proven.
