An SO14 Royalty Protection Officer was cleared by unanimous jury verdict in allegations of assault of a fare dodger and perverting the course of justice after being called to assist with an abusive passenger. The judge said upon acquittal that the officer’s good character remained intact.
Kevin Baumber defended the officer.
