Following the Ministry of Justice”s announcement of its accommodation with the Bar Council concerning, amongst other things, the no returns action, each member of 3 Raymond Buildings has individually decided that s/he will not undertake any VHCC or declassified VHCC case at the new rates introduced in December 2013.
Equally, and for the avoidance of doubt, members of chambers are wholly supportive of our solicitor colleagues in their negotiations with the Ministry of Justice, particularly concerning the introduction of a two-tier system for duty rotas.
