Two Kent police officers acquitted of misconduct in public office

Kent police constables Maurice Leigh and Neil Bowdery have been acquitted of misconduct in public office arising from the death of Colin Holt. Mr. Holt, who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia, died under restraint from positional asphyxia in August 2010. An inquest into his death is pending.

The respective officers were represented by Hugh Davies QC and Richard Atchley.
