PC Cooke, a CO 19 Trojan officer on patrol in Brick Lane, was charged with perverting the course of Public Justice for having a man arrested and charged for an assault upon him that it was alleged had not occurred. Despite 3 civilian witnesses and CCTV, PC Cooke was duly acquitted at Southwark Crown court.
