The trial of Ricardo Dwyer, alleged to have carried out the contract killing of a Turkish shopkeeper in his shop on Hornsey Road in 2009, began on 7th April 2013. The murder was committed in the context of the long running and bloody feud between two Turkish gangs, known generally as the Hackney Turks and the Tottenham Turks.
