A Special Constable was reinstated after a successful application for judicial review heard at the High Court sitting at Manchester. Although the client sought legal advice late, after time limits had expired, the court was persuaded to extend time to apply for a remedy. The constabulary was found to have dispensed with his services unlawfully.
