Stephen Walsh QC represented The Royal Parks to defend an application for Review of the Hyde Park premises licence which threatened the viability of the Olympic Concert programme and the long term future of events in the park following complaints about noise. The licensing authority determined the application so as to allow the Olympic events to proceed while modifying certain conditions on the licence for 2013 and beyond.
