On 21 September 2015 not guilty verdicts were recorded in respect of all charges brought by Mr Anthony McGill in his private prosecution against Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Chairman, Phil Gartside, The Sport Entertainment and Media Group Limited, Jerome Anderson, Jeffrey Weston, David Sheron, Stephen Horner and others.
These verdicts are the result of a rigorous review of the evidence by the Crown Prosecution Service resulting in a decision that there was insufficient evidence to continue the case.
